My Fave Fruit : Duwet

this is my fave fruit..the name is DUWET...or JUWET..i dont know what it is in english..
but many of my friends said its a JAVA GRAPE.. :)
it looks like grape with purple skin, but only one seed inside..
the taste is bit sour but thats why i like it :)

the best way to enjoy duwet is :
take the duwet from the branches, put them on a big bowl..sprinkle a handful of salt..
shake a bit..
then voilaaa !!!

if somebody know where to buy duwet, please let me know..this traditionat fruit is not available in big supermarket, even in traditional market this fruit is difficult to find :(

Jumbo - Clarke Quay

clarke quay, a must visit place in singapore !!!
they have the best places to eat and hang out and clubbing !!
so we went there, and had dinner in Jumbo..
its a very well known place of seafood..

Dinner at Joglo Plawang

i had dinner at Joglo Plawang with my bestfriendsss...
Joglo Plawang is a very nice restaurant *well sorry to say, the food was so so
but the view is awesome and the building is so javanese, complete with the puppets and gamelan..
its in Turgo, if im not mistaken its on the way to Magelang..

My Fave : Oven Baked Banana

this yummy dessert is available in Dixie:Easy Dining, Jogja
OBB (oven baked banana) is my and my friends favourite dessert, most of the time we just go there to chat and have some of this without any main course..
then it become a certain word to hang out in Dixie..so i just text my friends saying 'lets go OBB tonite'

*2bananas and sprinkle chocolate powder, melted chocolate, brown sugar, and lots of cheese, get it baked, and served with ice cream on top of it. My fave is coffee ice cream !!!

Yong Tau Fu - My Fave SingFood

when i have business trip in singapore, i always stay in Lucky plaza Apartment, its in Orchard Road..
the recommended food in the basement foodcourt is YONG TAU FU !!!
*this is my breakfast just before going back to indo..



this is the foodstall..
you have to pick mininum 7pcs for 4,2oSGD..if you want to add rice or noodle the addcost is 0,70SGD..
i always take the soup only..until now i still cannot finish them all..

*the recommended Yong Tau Fu are in Lucky Plaza, Food Republic (Wisma Atria), and in Takashimaya (Ngee Ann City)..have a try!!..

1SGD Ice Cream

i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ice cream !!!!
this ice cream costs 1SGD or +/- 7000 IDR..quiet pricey for jogja's people.. *hehehe..
but there, in singapore, its very chippo !!!


I got the chocolatte mint ice cream with bread..
sitting in front of Paragon and looking at the fancy cars passing by Orchard Road, i enjoyed every minute of eating it :)

Boring Evening

second day of my holiday..
i felt so boring..nothing to do..no one to go with..except my bff monica..
then we just went to the mall, shopping, and having pizza..

sooooooo boringggg...
when we were on pizza hut, Ambarukmo Plaza, we planned our cruel grudge on our friend who cancelled the holiday.. *smirking..hihi..

then the ice cream cheer me up.. :)

Mini Bite Snack

my dad bought me these mini cakes (i forgot what the name is) when we were in Ngee Ann City, heading to the medical clinic..
he said 'take this, eat while you're waiting'

they cost 5SGD for 3pcs..quite pricey..
but they tasted well..
i got chocolate, grape, and orange..yummm...

yesterday we just spoiled ourself..hehe..

i had double scoop..the right side is Mint Chocollate Chip and on the left side is Pistacchio Almond..those are my fave.. *monic said the pistacchio almond tasted like a shoe.. :( oh well it means she has tried chewing shoes????!!


Monic had one scoop only *she's on diet.. :p.. it was Cotton Candy..it was very sweet and blaahhh..
*well we have very different taste of everything for sure..

Food For My Grandma and Uncle

my family held a praying session for my passed away grandma and uncle. My grandma passed away 25 years ago, while my uncle 10 years ago.
in javanese tradition, we put food on certain room then we pray there.

The Aunty Party

Here she is..the birthday aunty..she didnt know that we were preparing surprise party for her in Gadjah Wong Restaurant. Lots of friends and lots of kids..then she burst into tears..so sweet :) :)

we ate yummy yummy food in Gadjah Wong, thanks to Ibu Yani. I ate my fave, Australian Tenderloin Steak with mashed potato..

these were..the cute forces..mice and cats..hulk and dracula..oh and shawn the skull!!

tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.....she is the merry-maker..ibu tatiana..i adore her because she can cook very well, she is very stylist and fun..


i also adore this gorgeous woman, Ibu Yani.. she is the owner of Gadjah Wong.. she is a hardworker and according to the stroy of her life, she aims high and she works hard for it.. *i hope i can do the same thing !


and she is Ibu Andi..*no..no..she will yell at me if i call her ibu..
Mbak Andi is a mother of two cute girls..but she still enjoy horseriding..tracking..rafting..
and she loves sneakers!!! like i do..hihi..
